July 4th,2009 Shoreline Park/picnic,sailing, new baby geese

Geo and I spent the 4th out at Shoreline Park test driving our little boat in preparation for our end of summer trip up to Whiskey Town Lake. The wind was good and geo took me for some pretty fast rides across that lake.

The geese were especially charming with their little fuzzy chicks and of course the redwinged black birds were amazing. If I ever catch them in flight you will hear my shout of joy across town.
