Sunday at Princeton By the Sea 7/26/09

Sunday morning we trailered our 14 foot sail boat over to Princeton By the Sea. There is a great boat ramp right next to a beautiful beach. I set up camp on the beach and Geo sailed in the Princeton harbor for the first time. We saw Sea lions, actually saw a sting ray caught by a shore fisherman, and I took pictures of the sea gulls and the brown pelicans. The Brown pelicans aren't quite as pretty as the white ones, but they are very entertaining as they fish as a group circling and herding the fish and then diving for them. The light as you can see from the sparkling water was very good. For those of you who haven't figured it out, you can click on each picture to see them in larger form. Oh yes, don't miss the sea gull who was doing one legged yoga poses! And of course you have to see my favorite Geo bird with the greean and white wings!!!!!!
