Friday evening walk at the bay lands. 7/10/09

We went out to the bay lands for a Friday evening picnic supper and walk. Geo cooked up some pasta with veggies from our garden while I was still at work. When I got home we took a short break out in our own garden with sun, iced coffee, and conversation. Then off to find the birds!! The little mud swallows are leaving their nests for the season. They are the hardest images to capture as they are tucked way up under the eves of the nature center. By next week they will all have been hatched out into the world and we will have to wait till next year for more photo opportunities.
