Meg and Mom's trip to Portland

Well here goes.......the following 4 pages [use older post link at the bottom of each page]of pictures are from my trip to see Meg and re-experience Portland. Every time I am there I realize all over again what a truly beautiful beautiful city it is. Meg picked me up at the air port and we went out to visit her house in Vancouver. Then we traveled into Portland and checked into the Paramount Hotel for the beginning of a four day girls weekend. We walked all over the city, ate lots of good meals. We ate at Pastinni's, South Park, Dragonfish, Beaches, Starbuck's for breakfast and on the last day my college roommate treated me to a lovely lunch at the Heathman Hotel. We went to Saturday Market, explored an architectural and Planning exhibition, went to the Portland Museum, Oregon Historical Society, Powell's books[of course}, The Pearl and one night enjoyed a new film" Away We Go"....and we did alot of driving out in the rural area of Vancouver looking at properties with land! We had a great time.!!!!

I want to thank Megan for being so generous with her time and love!!!! And I want to thank Midge for knowing who I was after 35 years, dropping everything and coming into town and hugging me and buying me lunch! Non stop chatter for at least 4 hours before she drove me out to the air port! You are amazing Midge! I hope you all enjoy the pictures as I love taking them....
