There are a large number of peacocks at the ranch. They are very used to people and will come right up to you if you are sitting still. They are very curious and one day when I was sitting on a picnic blanket doing water colors I looked up and found myself surrounded by 5 very curious peacocks! I sat very very still while they came up and sniffed me, my paints, the water cup I was using and then decided I was boring and went on their way. Alas, no camera with me at the time
