Well, here we are in a new year. This weekend is especially sunny and warm and we are both enjoying it to the fullest. Geo has planted our fava bean crop and pruned the fruit trees. We are so glad for this sunny day , even though we know we need rain.

A special thanks to Carol and Paul for a wonderful book on perennials. Geo's garden grows in the wonderful dark soil you see on this page, where as mine grows on paper. Thanks to you both for new garden ideas and new shoes !!!!! We look forward to many adventures this year.
