Princeton by the Sea Dec 28,2008
We had one last fling today before the holiday is over and it's back to work. We went to Princeton by the Sea for lunch with Ma Mere and Marilyn. I couldn't catch any people with my lens but did capture the sky. This was the view from the restaurant window.

Sunday morning over coffee I have a chance to work with my water color pencils and try and capture the colors in our one rose bush that isn't white. When they are in bud they appear entirely yellow and they turn orange to red a they open until they look like this when in full bloom. Marilyn gave us these rose bushes for our wedding gift and when I bought them I was told they were all white. But when all the bushes bloomed, low and behold there was this one bush with yellow buds that then exploded into color. I decided not to return it.

We have had a fun couple of days post Christmas. I have posted the video of me in my pajamas playing trains and race cars.......!!!! There are also pictures of our Christmas day walk. Notice how we still have trees in full color. We went for a great nature hike out at the Bay Lands and then had a very fun dinner with Ma Mere. For those of you who are far away, we miss you . And for those who are close we have had a wonderful time seeing you all this Holiday season.

Christmas Day 2008 images from American Way
Christmas Day dawned with an enormous storm. We built a great fire and proceeded to do more construction work on the raceway and trains. The challenge there was to build overpasses so they could run simultaneously. Geo is a very good engineer. Once again with Lincoln Logs he has succeeded . Now we have trains and race cars at the same time. My engineer also is the great chef of the house. Famous Grand Marnier french toast was provided for all race fans. It is still pouring rain off and on. We will soon try and brave the weather and go out for a Christmas Day walk. And later today we will join Geo's family for dinner and celebration. More pictures to come tomorrow. Wishing each and every one of you a Merry and Peaceful Christmas. All our Love, D and Geo
