I promised to send you some of the pictures that I draw and paint on the weekends in our garden.

Sunday July 27th 2008

It is amazing but July is almost over. We have had a great weekend working in our garden, harvesting food, and of course cooking the food that we grow. As you can see we have grown so really fine food. This is our favorite time of year!! I baked an apple and black currant pie and we had fresh vegetable saute over our whole wheat pasta last night. Geo has finished our out door dining set and we are very very pleased with it. Just beautiful!!!! Once again I seem to have no people in these pictures. We are going on vacation to Jenner, Ca in August and I promise to get people in those pictures. Brendan, we are going canoeing on the Russian River. Do you remember when we took your scout troop there and you dumped me in the river? It was soooo hot that you got a big thumbs up from me. Meg, glad to hear you are spending time out on the water. Wish I was there. All my love ,M0m

July 5th 2008 images from Walker house

We spent the weekend gardening, planted new herbs, Geo worked on the dining room set and is almost finished, I got a chance to paint our garden, Geo cultivated the back kitchen garden so we could plant some new seeds. We had a new neighborhood cat stalking our blue jay that lives in our garden. Our zucchini and beans and strawberries are producing, and our lavender is in full bloom which is very good for the bees. Sorry folks, no people this time, just images that I saw and liked.  Love to you all
